Student leave
Parents apply in seconds - with a certificate if needed
Sick, family function, medical appointment, sports or event leave from the parent app (or by the student in colleges). Require a medical certificate after N days, and let the class teacher and principal approve.

Staff leave
Balances, accruals and substitutes - handled
CL, SL, EL, maternity, comp-off and loss of pay with monthly or yearly accrual and carry-forward limits. When a teacher is approved for leave, substitutes are suggested for every affected period.
